Types of Stone and Granite

We offer a wide variety of granite, quartz, marble, and soapstone,.

Granite

Granite is a light-shaded igneous rock with grains sufficiently large enough to be noticeable with the independent eye. It structures from the sluggish crystallization of magma beneath Earth's surface. Granite is made essentially out of quartz and feldspar with minor measures of mica, amphiboles, and different minerals. This mineral structure ordinarily gives stone a red, pink, gray, or white color with dark mineral grains obvious all through the stone.

Quartz

Quartz countertops are man-made engineered stone formed by combining around 90 percent ground quartz with eight to 10 percent resins, polymers, and pigments. This forms a very hard granite-like surface. Since quartz countertops are engineered, there are very few, if any imperfections.

Marble

Marble is a metamorphic rock, which is a stone that has been changed over the long haul because of serious heat and pressure. Marble starts life as limestone, which is a delicate stone made primarily of calcite. Under heat and pressure, this limestone starts to recrystallize, changing the surface of the stone and making the calcite gems develop and interlock. Each piece of marble is an exceptional and shocking masterpiece and, when utilized in the home, adds a bit of extravagance and lavishness.

Soapstone

Soapstone, also known as steatite, is a metamorphic rock composed primarily of talc that was formed by millions of years of fluctuating heat and pressure combined with the infusion of mineral-rich water and other liquids. It is an attractive stone that is typically gray, bluish, green and sometimes brown in color. It can have considerable veining, which provides for a wide variety of grains or patterns.
